Refund Policy

    • Subject to the terms contained herein, all tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be changed to an alternative flight at the same or higher fare subject to availability, the payment of a change fee and any difference in fare. Full details can be found in our schedule of fees and charges, please check the fare rules prior to purchasing your Ticket.

    • On failure by FirstNation to provide carriage in accordance with the contract of carriage, refund of the fare or applicable portion thereof shall be made by us in accordance with this Article.

    • No agent, servant or representative of carrier has authority to alter, modify or waive any provision of this contract.

    • FirstNation without any affiliation to other airlines. Therefore, FirstNation cannot accept responsibility for missed onward connections as a result of any delays to scheduled departure times on either another FirstNation flight or on a unaffiliated airline

    • FirstNation shall be entitled to make a refund either to the person named in the Ticket or, to the person who has paid for the ticket, upon presentation of satisfactory proof of payment/authorization


    • If we cancel a flight or fail to stop at your destination and no alternative flight is available, or if a refund is otherwise due to you under these Conditions of Carriage, the amount of the refund shall be:

      • if no portion of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid

      • if a portion of the Ticket has been used, the refund will be not less than the difference between the fare paid and the applicable are for travel between the points for which the Ticket has been used

      • We shall not be liable for any other direct or indirect costs incurred by you as a result of such cancellation or missed destination. You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance for the travel you intend to take 

    • Applications for refunds must be made online or at any of FirstNation sales outlets to the correspondence address given at the end of these article


    • FirstNation reserve the right to make a refund in the same manner and the same currency used to pay for the Ticket. For the avoidance of doubt if payment has been made using mobile money, then the refund will be administered as a mobile payment in the same currency that was originally transacted

    • Refunds for credit/debit card purchases will be made only to the credit/debit card account used to purchase the ticket, and may take up to (30) working days before appearing on the card statement

    • Part refund on POS/WEB payment - cash refund on credit/debit card payment for ‘partly used return ticket’ due flight rescheduling or cancellation, will require the passenger’s Bank account details with same name on ticket

      • In the event that the validity date of credit card used for payment has expired or the card is cancelled; if the card holder uses another card of the same bank, refund is made to the account of the card holder 
    • Passenger claiming cash refund during flight cancellation must provide a valid ID card; letter of authorization is required for third party request along with means of identification.

    • Cash refund also can take up to (30) working days as well
    • Revalidation / date change fees are not refundable in the advent of flight cancellation.
    • Duo booking – Except as otherwise stated in this article, passenger will be permitted to refund on one of the PNRs.

    • No agent, servant or representative of the airline has authority to alter, modify or waive any provision of this contract.

    • FirstNation reserves the right to modify these articles without prior notification.
